Practice reading aloud in English with other adult learners this summer on Thursday mornings in June and July. 

Focus is on pronunciation, fluency, and confidence through shared reading in a supportive library setting.

For adults who can read in English and have some language experience; not for beginning learners.

  • Description: Kids and their parents/caregivers will learn about various garden topics, do an activity, and visit LSC-CyFair’s Community Garden each week.
  • Additional Info: Registration is required via an online form. Registration begins May 20th.

Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!

This orientation session will instruct participants on using the 3D printer in the library . Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer. Attendees will receive the 3D printer and Dremel 3D45 badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.
