The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is an opportunity for teenagers to voice their ideas and opinions regarding library programs. Participation can be used for community service hours.
You don't need a library card to participate in this meeting. You also do not need to register, just show up!
Ages 14-18.

In this program, teens ages 12-17 will be making a 3-ft felt garland for their room! Low-temp glue guns will be provided for the teens to use, and we will help in case they have never used a glue gun before.
There will be pre-cut felt shapes that they can glue to their garland or they can create their own shapes!
We're so excited to see what you create!
Do you like birds? We like birds. Come on down to South Houston Branch Library to make heart shaped bird feeder for all of your feathered friends!

Manifest a great 2026 by creating your own vision board. Use magazines, stickers, and a ton of glue to get inspired for the new year. All supplies are provided.
Gather with your fellow gamers to enjoy a tabletop RPG or board game! Games and snacks provided, but feel free to bring your own. This program is for adults only.

This class is for people who already know a little about using a computer and want to learn Microsoft Word. Over 6 weeks, we will practice typing, saving documents, changing text, adding pictures, and using Word tools like spell check and templates. The class meets one hour per week and is hands-on and beginner-friendly.
Registration is not required, but please keep in mind that you should try to attend every class in order to build your skills.
The Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library will host afterschool math tutoring for students from 4th to 12th grade. Thiis service is walk in and the services will be held in the study room.
