With no assigned book or group discussion, Introvert Happy Hour Book Club is ideal for those who want the community of a book club without the homework, conversation, and social pressure. Please join us in the Upstairs Conference Room on the second Monday of the month to read silently as a group without any discussion and enjoy light refreshments provided by the Friends of Freeman Library. The door opens at 6:00 PM.
No registration is necessary for this free program.

Join us for a fun interactive weekly story time perfect for walkers. Tiny Tykes uses stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. Tickets are required and will be handed out at the information desk 15 minutes prior.
Tickets will not be available 10 minutes after any program has started.
The age-appropriate child must be present to get a ticket for any ticketed program. Age range and ticket limits apply for each program.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a literary surprise at our Blind Date with a Book for Adults on Saturday, February 14th, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Highlands Stratford Branch Library. Choose one or more mystery-wrapped books and discover a new favorite without judging by the cover. As a sweet bonus, patrons will receive a treat when they check out their books—because every great date deserves dessert!
Shake those winter blues and bring a little light to your day. Come to the library to create a beautiful, little candleholder or two for your home or to give as a gift. All materials will be provided. No registration is needed.
