Welcome to the Microsoft Word classes. These are Level 1 classes for beginners and there will be two classes, parts 1 and 2. Here you will learn the basics of using this application to write letters or essays.

Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.

Books are selected during our annual book club poll, each fall. Registered participants will receive a link to nominate their picks, and to vote on the final selections. Printed book lists & monthly discussion guides are available at meetings, and at the front desk. Participants can place their own hold requests for copies of the books, or ask for their books to be requested in advance, during the annual survey.
