Join us for a free class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.
Design a tote bag that’s uniquely yours in this fun, hands-on Cricut workshop. Learn how to create a design, cut it with Cricut, and apply it to your tote using heat-transfer vinyl. No Cricut experience needed! All materials are provided.
This program is for adults only. Children will not be allowed to participate in the program.
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule a time to use a 3D printer at HCPL locations, during which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Attendees will receive 3D Printer and Lulzbot Mini 2 (machine) badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.
Mother Goose is a gentle early-learning program that focuses on the interaction between parent(s) and their little ones. We provide developmentally appropriate opportunities such as play, sing-alongs, and rhymes. Come join the fun and meet new friends. We look forward to seeing you!

Tales for Tots is a hands-on early literacy program for toddlers aged 24 months to 3 years, focusing on parent-child interactions. Each week is packed with fun as we sing, talk, read, and play, our way through exciting stories, catchy songs, wiggle-worthy movement, creative crafts, and more. A fun and engaging way to develop early literacy skills while making new friends!

Do you need help with technology? Book a 45-minute appointment with a staff member, we will try to help you figure it out!
Registration is required. To assist as many individuals as possible, you may only register for one appointment per week. If no one arrives by 2:00, the appointment will be canceled.Would you know what to do if someone has life-threatening bleeding?
UTMB will be here for an 1-hour long class that will teach us how to manage life-threatening bleeding while waiting for EMS to arrive.
The class is FREE and participants will get a certificate!
Come hang out with some adult coloring pages, explore watercolors, try your hand at sketching or bring your own art project to work on. Materials are provided at this two hour chill sesh.
