This event is open to tween and teens only. No registration is required, but space and supplies may be limited.

Are you ready to learn more English? Classes are every Tuesday and Thursday from 1 pm - 2 pm starting September 3 and ending November 12 (no class on October 15).

This class is for registered applicants. Registration dates for our next set of classes will be announced by early November.

Class takes place at BakerRipley East Aldine: 3000 Aldine Mail Route in the Bowen Education Center.

Promotes early literacy skills. The program features reading, singing, talking, writing and playing. We will help give you the resources you need to expand your child’s skills, preparing them to read. Recommended for children ages 2-5 years, it features age appropriate stories, songs, and fingerplays. Story time is an excellent way to bond with your child, boost their vocabulary, and hopefully raise a lifelong reader. Studies have shown that regularly reading to your child can increase their attention span, boost their emotional intelligence, and flex their imagination.

In this 60-minute session, Freeman Library Staff will address queries on desktops/laptops, smartphones, digital tablets, HCPL eMedia, and more.

This free event will NOT require registration.
