Recommended for children 3 to 5 years old. This program is designed for children who are ready to sit and listen to stories in addition to enjoying songs, fingerplays, and action rhymes.
Tickets are required for all programs, unless otherwise noted. They are free and available at 10:00 am when the library opens at the Children's Reference Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first come first served basis. Lines for the tickets sometimes form before the tickets are distributed. Tickets can run out very quickly so please plan accordingly.
Explore the game of chess by learning about openings, endgames, strategies, and tactics. This class is designed for children ages 5 and up, accommodating both beginners and advanced players.

This beginner friendly lesson will introduce participants to cross-stitching, which is a form of counted-thread embroidery using X-shaped stitches to create a pattern.
This program is limited to attendees age 5 and up. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Join us in this very popular and relaxing craft activity. Diamond painting involves applying tiny resin rhinestones to a pre-printed canvas to create a mosaic-style art piece. Beginners are welcome and you will be able to create a keychain or magnet.
