Join us for a heartwarming crochet workshop where you’ll bring the adorable Bigli Migli characters to life—perfect handmade gifts or sweet decorations to share love and warmth this Valentine’s season. This program is free to attend and all supplies are provided. Basic crochet knowledge is required. Young Audiences of Houston Presents: African Rhythms and Spirituals with Joseph Dixon

This performance is inspired by two of the oldest forms of communication—the drum and the human voice. It explores the origins and history of African percussion and Spirituals from Americans of African descent. Students learn about traditional African drums such as the Djembe, Ashiko, and Dun Dun, as well as the Congolese Tumbadora.

Join us on Wednesdays at 11:00 am for Toddler Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time is designed for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years old. We meet in the children's area to share books, songs, rhymes, and more! After Story Time, the toy cabinets are opened and the children are invited to stay and play. It's a great way to meet other caregivers and give your toddler a chance to socialize. 

Siblings are always welcome. 

We meet in the children's area where the picture books and campfire rug are located. 

No registration or tickets required.

We will help give you the resources you need to expand your child’s skills, preparing them to read. Recommended for children ages 2-5 years, it features age appropriate stories, songs, and fingerplays. Story time is an excellent way to bond with your child, boost their vocabulary, and hopefully raise a lifelong reader. Studies have shown that regularly reading to your child can increase their attention span, boost their emotional intelligence, and flex their imagination.
