Whether your little one is a cuddly newborn or a curious local explorer, they'll love our mix of whimsical tales, catchy songs, and active rhymes. Join with other preschoolers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Preschool Story Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays, and a take-home craft to engage preschoolers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards kids ages 3-5 years.
Tickets are required and will be handed out in the Children's Library starting 15 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Preschool Story Time.

Play and Learn with Me: Family Place Workshop is an early literacy program that highlights learning through play. During this five-week workshop, parents/caregivers and their toddlers ages 1-3 years, will have the opportunity to participate in play-based learning. Each week of the workshop will also feature a resource professional to answer questions on topics including literacy, child development, music and movement, nutrition, and speech and language development.

If you knit, crochet or do any other form of needlecraft please join us for the Freeman Needlecrafters. While attendees are happy to help others through the difficult parts of a project, this club is not intended as a class for instruction.

Calling all plant lovers! We're having a community plant swap at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library!
You're invited to join us to trade seeds, plant cuttings, propagations, and plants! Register to let us know you plan to attend.
This is a free event. Selling of plants/cuttings/seedlings is prohibited.
To ensure there is enough space, please do not bring more than 10 plants/cuttings/propagations or seedlings.
Bring unwanted plants, pots, seeds, or other gardening items to swap with other plant enthusiasts.
