Join us for our weekly homeschool meet up, where kids can engage in STEAM activities such as building challenges, fiber art crafts, science experiments, process art, games, and more, all while having fun and socializing. Parents/caregivers are welcome to join each other in the library for an informational session and networking.

Movie: Hotel Transylvania
Classical Sing Move Play classes provide an introduction to melody, rhythm, instrument play time, and movement with music from famous operas and classical symphonies to folk songs. The Music of Mexico class, led by opera singers Alisa and Alejandro Magallón, will explore some of the most well-known tunes from traditional Mexican music and nursery songs. Recommended for ages 2-5. Children of all ages are welcome.

Join us for a cozy and fun Family Storytime at the Maud Smith Marks library! Bring the whole family and settle in for a delightful session of stories, songs, and interactive activities perfect for all ages. Wear your comfiest pajamas, and feel free to bring a favorite stuffed animal or blanket for extra snuggly vibes.
Enjoy traditional Bolivian Dance by the Waras group. The group will be bringing Cunapes (cheese bread) for tasting.
Calling all homeschooled kids! September's Library Learning will explore the fascinating worlds of psychology, geology, and chemistry—all centered around food! Through hands-on activities, experiments, and interactive lessons, children will discover how science and the natural world connect to what we eat every day. Perfect for curious minds eager to learn and explore.
Love playing the Pokémon card game and discussing all things Pokémon with fellow fans? Join the Pokémon League every first and third Saturday, sponsored by the Magnolia City Pokémon Gym. Bring your favorite deck, play the card game with other fans, trade cards in a controlled environment, and talk all things strategy. This event is open to all ages and skill levels.
