Do you have a child in kindergarten through 3rd grade who loves stories—or one who could use a little extra reading support? Harris County Public Library’s Book Buddies is a FREE, fun-filled literacy program that pairs enthusiastic, trained teen volunteers (our amazing Big Buddies) with younger readers (Little Buddies) for 9 weeks of reading adventures!
Krafty Kids is a whimsical environment where children can express their creativity through a variety of artistic activities, ranging from painting to sculpting. With an extensive selection of supplies and guided sessions, kids have the opportunity to explore their talents and craft unique masterpieces to take home. Join us every Wednesday at 3:45 PM for an inspiring creative adventure!
Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for a ~Bonus~ Baby Storytime for those who cannot make it on Monday mornings or for those who want an encore with Ms. Amanda!
We will read stories, have tummy time, and sing songs. Look forward to lots of wiggles, giggles, and play. Caregivers are encouraged to stay after to play and build community connections.
This program is for babies from 0 up to 18 months old.*

Here is an entertaining and innovative treatment of the classic C.S. Lewis story. The heroic tale of love, faith, courage and giving; the life and death struggle for control of Narnia and the grandeur of the triumph of good over evil has enthralled audiences of all ages. This unique and excellent two-actor adaptation was toured by The Lincoln Center. This delightfully theatrical and engaging adaptation brings the full story to life and captures the power of Lewis' famous novel in a short space.
