Little Sprouts Baby Story Time is a ticketed story time that is every Tuesday at 11:15 am at the Katy Library. Please make sure to arrive early to receive a ticket. This event is for non-walking babies only. We ask that older children are left out for safety.

Is it okay for my child to eat pizza for breakfast?  How many words should a four-year-old know?  Get answers to your parenting questions, in a casual and fun environment.  Chat with experts while your children enjoy a variety of toys and activities.  Topics include:

  • Music and Movement

    This series of workshops is for parents/caregivers with children ages 0 to 5.

    Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for Baby Story Time with Ms. Amanda! We will read stories, have tummy time, and sing songs. Look forward to lots of wiggles, giggles, and play. Caregivers are encouraged to stay after to play and build community connections.

    Join us for a special Storytime with Smokey Bear to learn all about fire safety, afterwards meet some of the firefighters from the Jacinto City FD! If time permits, see one of the fire trucks up close!

    Perfect for ages 3–10, but all ages are welcome!

    Join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 am for Baby Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time program is designed for babies from birth to 18 months old. We share books, songs, rhymes, music, bubbles, and toys! We also learn some early literacy tips and activities. It’s a great way to meet other caregivers and to give your baby a chance to socialize.

    Siblings are always welcome.

    This program is held in our library meeting room.

    No registration or tickets required.

    Mother Goose is a gentle early-learning program, which focuses on the interaction between parent(s) and their little ones. We provide developmentally appropriate opportunities such as play, sing-alongs, and rhymes. Come join the fun and meet new friends. We look forward to seeing you!
