Adults
Join us for the grand inauguration of our Community Learning space, made possible by LyondellBasell Equistar! Celebrate with us at this special community event featuring a Plant Swap and a Health Fair.
Join us to dive into DNA use and techniques for family history research. This fall, we will be studying and discussing Diahan Southard's, "Your DNA Guide: the book" and "Your DNA Guide: the workbook". (Not provided.)
The discussion portion of this program will be held in-person and virtually. After discussion time, in person participants will move to the library computers for hands-on work with matchlists.
Participants bring their own lunch to enjoy (optional!) while watching genealogy how-to webinars presented by experts in the field, then discuss how to apply the knowledge gained in their own research. The topic of each session will be decided shortly prior to the start of the program, based on input from the participants.
This group has lively discussions about Inspirational Fiction Books. We meet in the Conference Room. Email paige.carpenter@hcpl.net for more information.
