Even though banned book week has passed, we thought we'd end the year with a small bang! Come prepared to put your favorite banned book on a mini tote bag with our sublimations markers and Cricut press.
All materials provided. Ages 15+ are welcome.

Do you enjoy Miss Rachel and Miss Crystal's jewelry paint program? Well here's another variation of it!
We will paint wooden cut outs and turn them into nice magnets for your fridge or desk.
Magnets will be limited to 2 per person.
Registration is required. Program is for ages 5 and up.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Join us on Fridays at 1PM to craft and chat. We focus on knitting and crochet and make items to donate to local charities.
We are happy to help old and new crafters with their projects, but this is not a formal class.

Family Playdate Workshop
The Family Workshop is a six-week program intended for children, aged 5 years and under, and their caregivers. Caregivers and children gather in a room with passive toys that encourage creative play and learning. The sessions will also include a local child expert who will provide information and answer questions and concerns of caregivers on topics related to early child development.

To register for the class, you must take an in-person placement exam.
Join us for a free,12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.
Come hang out with some adult coloring pages, explore watercolors, try your hand at sketching or bring your own art project to work on. Materials are provided at this two hour chill sesh.
Join us for our Cricut orientation!
This orientation session will instruct participants on using the Cricut in the library. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule time to use a Cricut at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a Cricut. Attendees will receive the Cricut and Cricut Explore Air 2 badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.
