Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a new recipe! Join us on an educational journey through Latin American heritage while tasting delicious food. HCPL has partnered with Oldways to present classes on how to eat healthy by following a traditional Latin American diet.

In this class, Esteban will teach you how to make the recipe Panama Smoothies using fresh mango and banana and to make Jicama Sticks with Chile Lime—a refreshing and zesty snack. Esteban will prepare these foods for everyone to share.

Classes are free and all materials are provided. Pre-registration is required before anyone can attend. Watercolor for “Young at heART” adults meets every Tuesday morning to enjoy watercolor painting while commiserating with fellow artists! This friendly and social group is open to all adults and to all levels of art experience, including those who have never painted with watercolor at all. Sometimes the group works on individual projects and sometimes there is an art education period. Sometimes you will learn something new and sometimes you can teach something to others. Join in for a morning of beautiful art and fun conversation!
