This beginner friendly lesson will introduce participants to cross-stitching, which is a form of counted-thread embroidery using X-shaped stitches to create a pattern.
Join us for our Cricut orientation!
This orientation session will instruct participants on using the Cricut in the library. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule time to use a Cricut at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a Cricut. Attendees will receive the Cricut and Cricut Explore Air 2 badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.
Join Rootsquad Genealogy Group every 3rd Tuesday from 10a-12p to stay up-to-date on current family history industry news, hear research tips, learn from genealogy webinars and expert speakers, and share ways to improve research techniques. Participants bring their own lunch to enjoy (optional!) while watching genealogy how-to webinars presented by experts in the field, then discuss how to apply the knowledge gained in their own research.
