Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

Are you looking for a way to improve your English skills? ESL Classes are underway at the Aldine Branch Library.The Aldine Branch Library will be offering:
- Beginning ESL introduction (in-person)
- We will meet once a week on Tuesdays January 13, 2026 - March 3rd from 1pm - 2pm

Not sure what to do after high school? This presentation explores different paths such as college, trade programs, military service, gap years, and entering the workforce. Learn the pros, costs, and next steps for each option so you can make a confident and informed decision about your future.
Do you need help with technology? Book a 45-minute appointment with a staff member, we will try to help you figure it out!

- To assist as many individuals as possible, you may only register for one appointment per week.

This class will teach participants how to navigate the internet. Topics include common web browsers, searching for websites, and basic safety and scam prevention tips. Basic familiarity with computers (turning on the computer, using the mouse, basic typing) is required. Registration is required, register online @ hcpl.net. We will be using library computers, so no need to bring your own!
