Savvy Stitchers is a friendly group of crafters of all ages, getting together for fellowship while enjoying their creative hobbies. It is a great way to meet neighbors that have a mutual love for knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, quilting, or other crafts. We all love to learn something new!

Join each Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00PM.

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule a time to use a 3D printer at HCPL locations, during which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Attendees will receive 3D Printer and Lulzbot TAZ Workhorse (machine) badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.

Boost your English speaking skills with our ESL Conversational Class! This class offers a warm, supportive space where adult learners can practice real-life communication. Each session includes guided conversation, reading easy books and fun interactive activities. Build confidence, improve fluency, and enjoy connecting with others while learning English.

This class is designed for students who are interested in learning and practicing speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills in English. Classes are free and all materials are provided.  

Starting in January, you can stop by the Katy Branch Library to pick up an application.

Join us in this very popular and relaxing craft activity. Diamond painting involves applying tiny resin rhinestones to a pre-printed canvas to create a mosaic-style art piece. Beginners are welcome and you will be able to create a holiday themed ornament or snowflake keychain. 

All supplies are provided.
