Family Playdate Workshop

The Family Workshop is a six-week program intended for children, aged 5 years and under, and their caregivers. Caregivers and children gather in a room with passive toys that encourage creative play and learning. The sessions will also include a local child expert who will provide information and answer questions and concerns of caregivers on topics related to early child development.

Las sesiones serán una vez por semana durante tres semanas - los martes por la x, 6:00 p.m. a 7:30 p.m., del 23 de septiembre al 28 de octubre.

Parenting Classes with Stella are for parents and caregivers who have children up to 8 years old.

Sessions will be held once a week for 3 weeks - Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm, September 16th - 30th.

Please attend class sessions *without* children.

Did you know that if you use G-mail, you already have dozens of free apps similar to Microsoft Office? 

Google's apps include a powerful word processor, spreadsheet, slides, calendar, photos, translator and lots more. Come to this class for an overview of many of these apps. 

Participants must bring their personal cell phone to class in order to participate. Your personal USB (thumb) drive is also recommended.

Registration is required.

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for Baby Story Time with Ms. Amanda! We will read stories, have tummy time, and sing songs. Look forward to lots of wiggles, giggles, and play. Caregivers are encouraged to stay after to play and build community connections.

The course will cover essential computer skills, including understanding hardware components, operating systems, file management, and basic software applications. Students will learn to navigate the internet, use email, and protect their privacy and security online. Practical lessons will guide learners through the use of popular productivity tools, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
