En esta clase aprenderás:

• Abriendo y usando la cámara.
• Modos de foto: portarretrato, video, conceptos básicos de zoom, flash, y reloj.
• Como ver las fotos/videos en la galería o aplicación de fotos.
• Edición básica: recortando, iluminación y filtros

Las clases serán gratis, no necesitan registrar. Tampoco necesitarán tarjeta de biblioteca para atender la clase. Les daré folletos de la lección para llevarse a la casa.

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is an opportunity for teenagers to voice their ideas and opinions regarding library programs. Participation can be used for community service hours. 

You don't need a library card to participate in this meeting. You also do not need to register, just show up!

Ages 14-18.

Welcome to our smartphone classes!

In this class you will learn:

• Using the phone app: making/answering calls, voicemail and call history.
• How to send text messages, attach photos, use emojis
• Group Messages
• Saving and managing contacts

These classes are free and you do not need to register. You also do not need a library card to attend. I will provide handouts from the lesson for you to take home.

• Understanding the home screen layout.
• Icons, widgets, notification bar, control center.
• How to move apps, delete apps or create folders.
• How to adjust brightness and quick settings.
• Using gestures: swipe, pinch, zoom and scrolling.

Play & Learn is a program designed for children ages 18 months- 4 years old to learn through play. Children will enjoy interactive playing time that will help them learn and develop skills in preparation for early success and school readiness.

• Como ajustar el brillo y configuraciones rapidas
• Usando gestos: deslizar, pellizcar, hacer zoom, y desplazar.

Join us for our monthly Lego Club!  We provide the Lego's and the kids provide the creativity and imagination! Program is open to children of all ages. Join us for an hour of fun mixed free and themed building.

This class is the beginning of the smartphone classes!

You will learn:

• What a smartphone is and common types (Android vs. iPhone)
• Basic components: home button, power button, volume buttons, camera, and charger ports.
• Turning the smartphone on/off, locking/unlocking.
• Navigating home screen vs. lock screen.
• What apps are and why they matter.

These classes are free and you do not need to register. You also do not need a library card to attend. I will provide handouts from the lesson for you to take home.
