Do you know how to use a computer but feel like you need more practice? Join us for a session of keyboard and mouse practice, where you will be able to complete exercises to improve your computer skills with help from our library staff. Basic familiarity with computers (turning on the computer, using the mouse, basic typing) is required. Registration is required, register online @ hcpl.net. We will be using library computers, so no need to bring your own!

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the 3D printer or Resin 3D printer.
This class is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
We will meet in the 1st Floor Meeting Room this month.

This orientation session will introduce participants to laser cutter services within the Harris County Public Library system. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule a time to use a laser cutter at HCPL maker locations. This class is appropriate for patrons ages 12 and up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Join us for the Monthly Make and Mingle, a new hands-on program where creativity meets technology! Each month, adults are invited to explore a new craft or DIY project using in-house maker equipment—including the Cricut, laser cutter, and 3D printers—alongside traditional crafting supplies.
Whether you're an experienced maker or just curious to try something new, this program offers a welcoming space to learn, create, and connect with fellow makers. All materials are provided, space is limited, register today!
