This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.
Calling all knitting, crocheting, embroidery and other needlecraft enthusiasts! Work on your projects in a welcoming environment as you mix and mingle with fellow enthusiasts in the area.
All experience levels are welcome! Please note this is not a class and there is no formal instruction presented on any type of needlework or fiber arts.

This orientation session will introduce participants to sewing machine operation and use in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the sewing machine.
Come and experience the beauty of the night sky with us, as we explore the universe and learn about the wonders of the cosmos. Experts from the Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society will be on hand to guide you through the constellations and answer any questions you may have.
You are welcomed to bring your own telescope!
Celebrate the season with a Thanksgiving Needle Felting Workshop! Create a festive fall-themed project while learning the basics of needle felting in a relaxed and welcoming environment. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
Please note that this event is for adults only due to the use of sharp felting needles. Supplies are limited, first come, first serve.

Developed by the Arthritis Foundation, this program has been proven to help people with arthritis engage in walking, stretching, and strengthening exercises to reduce pain, increase balance and strength, and build confidence in their ability to be physically active.
This program is available for people 60 years of age and older with arthritis.
