Piece of My Art is a monthly program that occurs typically every second Tuesday of the month at 3pm. Teens and adults are welcome to create their masterpiece through this arts and crafts program. Participants of all levels are can join!

September 9 - Kumihimo Bracelets
October 28 - Mini calavera decorating
November 11 - Autumn painting
December 9 - Air dry clay ornaments

Bring your own project to our monthly teen fiber arts group! Come to chat and work on your current project, get ideas for new projects, and be inspired by your fellow fiber artists. Whether it’s crochet, knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, or anything in between, if you can bring it with you, you can work on it. This program is open to ages 12-17, 18 if in high school. Come watch a movie in the teen space and eat delicious snacks! Movie rotates monthly; October's movie is Jurassic Park (rating: PG-13). Popcorn and drinks will be provided. This program is open to ages 12-17, 18 if in high school.

Any kind of writing is welcome, from short stories to fanfiction, poetry to novels! This program is open to ages 12-17, 18 if in high school. Email virginia.gonzalez@hcpl.net for more information.

Program Analysts from Precinct 3 will participate in the upcoming First Responder’s Day community event. At their table, they will provide ELQN literature and administer the mid-point survey, while also offering children’s books and themed coloring pages as incentives for families who stop by.
