Bring your own project to our monthly teen fiber arts group! Come to chat and work on your current project, get ideas for new projects, and be inspired by your fellow fiber artists. Whether it’s crochet, knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, or anything in between, if you can bring it with you, you can work on it. This program is open to ages 12-17, 18 if in high school. This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut operation and software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut.
This class is appropriate for ages 8 and up.Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.Registration required.Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
The Fall cycle of Book Buddies will run from September 18th to November 20th. Reading sessions will be in the library meeting room.
Come hang out with us at the Crosby Library every other Monday at 1pm! A fun time for teens to get creative, play some games, and kick back with friends.
For Teens ages 13-18, registration not required.
