Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Conchas & Crafts, where teens can enjoy traditional Mexican sweet bread while learning the cultural significance of horseshoes as symbols of luck and protection, then create their own beautifully decorated version to take home!

This orientation session will introduce participants to vacuum forming services in the library, and the basics on how to create your own uniquely-shaped plastic molds. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a vacuum former at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a vacuum former.
