Join us for a celebration of Texas Archaeology Month with clay pinch pot kits provided by the Texas Historical Commission! Learn about Texas archaeology while making your own pot inspired by Caddo pottery traditions. All skill levels welcome, and all supplies provided. Due to limited supplies, only one pot per person.

This program is open to ages 12-17, 18 if in high school. For more information, please email virginia.gonzalez@hcpl.net.

This orientation session will introduce participants to laser cutter services within the Harris County Public Library system. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule a time to use a laser cutter at HCPL maker locations. This class is appropriate for patrons ages 12 and up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us in the teen space and make your own buttons with our button maker to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! Use one of our designs or make your own! All supplies are provided.

Get Creative with Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut machine capabilities, operation, and use. Completion of this orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut at Harris County Public Library.

Join Future U and High Meadows for an informative and beneficial event showcasing several topics related to both career exploration, and finding ways to research and also fund college pathways to rewarding and marketable careers.

Future U will be on hand providing information and resources on marketable degrees, trades, and marketable and targeted occupations in Harris County, as well as how to research and apply for hundreds of available scholarships and grants to help fund your educational pursuits.
