Welcome to our smartphone classes!

In this class you will learn:

Understanding the home screen layout.Icons, widgets, notification bar, control center.How to move apps, delete apps or create folders.How to adjust brightness and quick settings.Using gestures: swipe, pinch, zoom and scrolling.

These classes are free and you do not need to register. You also do not need a library card to attend. I will provide handouts from the lesson for you to take home.

This class will introduce basic file management using a desktop computer. Participants will familiarize themselves with the file explorer, creating digital folders, and moving files throughout the computer. Basic familiarity with computers (turning on the computer, using the mouse, basic typing) is required. We will be using library computers, so no need to bring your own!

This class is for people who are new to using computers and want to learn the basics of using a desktop computer. Topics covered will include basic computer vocabulary, using the mouse, and an overview of the operations and programs many computers have. Join us for a free class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

Join us for a time of creativity and fun! We will have some supplies for whatever kind of journaling you wish to engage in, from bullet journaling to junk journaling to dream journaling. Journals will be provided if you don't already have one. Snacks will be provided.
