Storytime fosters early literacy skills and a love for reading in a cozy, welcoming environment. Books, stories, songs, movements and group play time. Come and develop your child’s literacy skills in this fun environment.
Book-or-Treat! Visit the Kingwood Library from 3-7pm to trick-or-treat at our customer service desks and receive a free book*, prizes, and candy! Costumes are encouraged! This activity is for children of all ages, no tickets or registration required. *Supplies are limited; book-or-treat will end at 7pm or once supplies are gone.
Join us for our bilingual Storytime! Every week, new story themes like Robots, Superheroes, Dragons, and more! Also, play some instruments with us and play interactive games between the tales. 🎸 📚 🎮

Join us for 30 minutes of story time for our youngest library users! Our “Little Readers” program is for children 0 to 5 years old and their caregivers. Little Readers features books, stories, songs, movements and group play time. Come and develop your child’s early literacy skills in this fun environment.

Join with other preschoolers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Preschool Story Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays, and a take-home craft to engage preschoolers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards kids ages 3-5 years.
Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Preschool Story Time.

Join us at the Katy Library for Flower Hour, a preschool story time, from 11:15 am-12 pm. This event will take place on the carpet in the children's section of the library. Come dance, sing, and grow while we read books together!
