What we offer:

Do you knit/crochet/craft? Please join us for our weekly meeting of the Knotty and Nice Club. We meet for 2 hours and socialize while working on our own projects or community charity projects. Please note that this is not a class but people are always available to help you if you need a LITTLE help. If you have never knitted or crocheted, the library offers many books and a few DVDs to learn. You can find many helpful videos on YouTube as well.

• Occurrence: Miércoles / Wednesdays, weekly (unless otherwise noted)
• Time: 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM
• Ages: 2-6
• Description: Historias, rimas y canciones en español e inglés / Stories, songs & rhymes in Spanish and English.
• Additional Info: Las entradas para este programa son gratuitas y estarán disponibles a partir de media hora antes del programa. The tickets for this program are free and available 30 minutes before the program starts.

Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.

Need help preparing your taxes? AARP will prepare your taxes for FREE!

Available only on Mondays and Fridays from 10AM to 2PM.

You will need to bring:

1. the completed AARP tax packet (available at the library),
2. a driver's license/state ID,
3. social security card, and
4. any relevant tax information/forms.

This program is first come, first serve for walk-ins.

This year AARP will also offer appointments. Appointments can be made over the phone or in-person.
