Storytime fosters early literacy skills and a love for reading in a cozy, welcoming environment. Books, stories, songs, movements and group play time. Come and develop your child’s early literacy skills in this supportive, community environment.
⌚When: This weekly story time fun is every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. when the library opens! (Although there is a possible waiting line even before that) 👂Who: This story time is geared towards toddlers ages 18-35 months (1-3 years old), and pre-K are also welcome to come and enjoy the stories, too. 📍Where: 2nd floor children's area of the Harris County Public Library-West University Branch. ❓What: Storytime uses age-appropriate stories and songs to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers in a culture of literacy and reading. NOTE*: Space is very limited due to fire code regulations. 🎟️🎟️Free tickets at the reference desk the morning of the program to gain entry on a "first come; first served" basis🎟️🎟️. Tickets will not be available 5 minutes after any program has started.*We cannot accommodate daycare programs or groups for this program, thank you for your understanding.
