This 8-week fall program is packed with fun activities like planting seeds, creating a garden, and getting our bodies moving with brain boosting activities and exercises!
Join us for a special Storytime with Smokey Bear to learn all about fire safety, afterwards meet some of the firefighters from the Jacinto City FD! If time permits, see one of the fire trucks up close!

With a wide range of supplies and guided sessions, kids can explore their talents and create take-home masterpieces. Join us every Wednesday at 3:30 PM for an enriching creative journey!
Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for our special therapy dog reading sessions! We’re happy to have Fiona and her trainers back with us to help our struggling or shy readers gain confidence.
This program is recommended for ages 6 to 12. Tickets are available at the Children's desk 15 minutes before the start of the event. Capacity is limited, so please pick up a ticket before visiting with the best good boys.
Join us for a Halloween Costume Parade at 5:30 pm starting in the Children's Area of the library. We will have a free book for the top 3 costumes! Goodies and a craft will be available as well.

Paws For Therapy “Read to a Dog”
Join us from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the Children’s section of the library. “Paws for Therapy” is a group of volunteers in the Houston area who enjoy sharing their trained therapy dogs with those in need of love and comfort. Reading can be hard, so kids, ages 5-11 can get comfortable and practice their reading skills with a trained therapy dog.
Come and join us for a fun children's movie! Our After School Movie Time is geared for elementary school age children and their caregivers. No registration is required and It is free to attend.

Fall into a new hobby! In this program you will learn about a new hobby every week such as gardening or jewelry making, and get a chance to try out! The goal of this program is to spark a child's interest in learning a new hobby. This program is for children in Kindergarten- 5th grade.
