This summer, the Museum of Fine Arts and Harris County Public Library invite children ages 7–12 to discover art through a free, weeklong camp full of creativity and fun!
Each day, participants will:
Explore examples of paintings and sculptures through lively, interactive discussions
Create their own artwork inspired by Latin American artists’ techniques, materials, and use of color
The CMH Workshop is back at the JC Library! Children’s Learning Institute, in partnership with the Children’s Museum Houston, has created workshops to encourage STEM development. During the workshop, families are presented with strategies that develop early STEM skills. Children and families engage in an interactive learning experience through a book read-aloud, followed by hands-on activity stations.
Join us for some family movie fun as we watch a movie with popcorn and drinks! This movie features PG movie from 2016 about a happy group of trolls who love to sing and dance.
Tickets are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Children’s Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is recommended for children 3 and up.

Join us for **Learn, Grow, Eat & Go!**, a hands-on, summer adventure where kids become gardeners, taste-testers, and healthy-living champions! This summer-long program is packed with fun activities like planting seeds, exploring yummy fruits and veggies, and getting our bodies moving with games and exercises!
Join us July 14th-17th, from 10 AM to 12 PM, for an art camp presented by the Museum of Fine Arts Houston! This event is free and requires registration and a commitment to attend the entire week.
Friday, the final day, includes a trip to the museum. A parent or guardian must attend the museum trip with their child. Applications are available now. Further instructions will be provided. Make sure to swing by to pick up an application!

Join us for out Bluey: End of HCPL's Summer Reading Program at Aldine Library!
Participate in story time and games from the Bluey show including “Black light- Keepy Uppy.
Following the Bluey program, check-in to Complete the Summer Reading Program in Bean Stack, pick up some books, and enjoy a bite to eat, along with Free face paint and visit other vendors.
This program is perfect for families and suitable for participants of all ages.
