Join Michael, Octavia Field Library's Children's Librarian, for the second day of a two-day air-dry clay class. On this second day, students will paint their air-dray clay boxes.

The Precinct 1 Back to School Bash will be a vibrant community-centered event designed to bring together local residents, families, and partner organizations in support of student success. Hosted in the heart of Sunnyside and South Park for accessibility and maximum impact, this event will provide free school supplies, backpacks, learning materials, and essential resources to help children start the school year prepared and confident.

Join Michael, Octavia Field Library's Children's Librarian, for the first day of a two day air dry clay class. On this first day, students will use stencils to make a clay box with a lid and a fun handle of their own creation. Students are encouraged to only take this class if they can make it to the second class on August 16th that will focus on painting their air dry clay box.

This program is recommended for ages 6 to 12. Tickets are available at the Children's desk 15 minutes before the start of the event. Capacity is limited, so please pick up a ticket before visiting with the best good boys.
