On Thursday, June 4th at 10:00 AM, enjoy “The Ballerina with Webbed Feet,” a delightful show that brings a beloved story to life through music, movement, and imagination. This engaging performance is perfect for children and families, making reading an exciting, shared experience.

Bring the whole family and get ready to laugh, participate, and be inspired by the magic of live storytelling. You won’t want to miss it!

This program is recommended for babies aged 0-18 months, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. It includes age-appropriate stories, rhymes, bounces, and songs that lay the foundation for reading. Children will also develop sensory, fine motor, and social skills through playtime.

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch for a celebration of community this Summer!

This year's Summer Reading theme is "Unearth a Story", and the Cypress Creek community is coming together to celebrate how our stories bring us together. Bring the whole family and meet old friends while making new ones.

There will be face painting, Kona Ice, and games galore! There is no age restriction, so bring the whole family. This event is free with no ticket required.

Sunshine Baby Time is an early literacy program for babies up to 18 months and their caregivers. Please join us as we share early literacy tips, stories, songs, and fun! 

In order to ensure the safety of our youngest patrons, this is a ticketed program. Free tickets will be available in the library on the morning of the program. First come, first served.

Join the Katy Library from 4-5 pm on June 1st for our annual Summer Reading Kick-off Celebration! Come sign up for the 2026 Summer reading challenge and enjoy fun activities in the library!

Join us for 30 minutes of story time for our youngest library users! Our “Little Readers” program is for children 0 to 5 years old and their caregivers. Little Readers features books, stories, songs, movements and group play time. Come and develop your child’s early literacy skills in this fun environment.
