Switch 2 Play is a weekly Thursday event at 4:00 PM in the library, where people of all ages can relax and connect through popular games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart World, and Just Dance. All necessary equipment, including the console, controllers, and seating, is provided for a fun and easygoing gaming experience. Whether you're here to unwind, improve your skills, or meet fellow gamers, Switch 2 Play offers a welcoming space to play and have fun.

This colorful program will focus on creating compositions using graphite transfer and grid technique to develop subject matter. Teaching artist Joseph Dixon welcomes all skill levels! Grades 4th to 12th.
Join us for some family movie fun as we watch a movie with popcorn and drinks! This movie features PG movie from 2016 about a happy group of trolls who love to sing and dance.
Tickets are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Children’s Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is recommended for children 3 and up.

Participants will have one hour to create their own "disaster-piece" alongside others.

This summer, the Museum of Fine Arts and Harris County Public Library invite children ages 7–12 to discover art through a free, weeklong camp full of creativity and fun!
Each day, participants will:
Explore examples of paintings and sculptures through lively, interactive discussions
Create their own artwork inspired by Latin American artists’ techniques, materials, and use of color
Join us in this very popular and relaxing craft activity. Diamond painting is a craft activity that involves applying tiny resin rhinestones to a pre-printed canvas to create a mosaic-style art piece. Beginners are welcome and we will be creating either a bookmark or magnet.
All supplies are provided.

In this exciting and immersive Minecraft experience, kids will learn Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) skills and work together to journey from Plane Crash Island to Atlantis. This is an excellent 1.5-hour program your 4th-12th grader will surely enjoy. Tickets will be available 30 minutes before the program begins at the customer service desk.
