Summer Reading Program
Hey Tweens and Teens! Are you the GOAT when it comes to cooking in the kitchen? FLEX your cooking skills by joining us for Teen Kitchen: Veggie Pizzas! Grab all your friends and cook up some tasty treats!
This program is suited for ages 10 and up, but parental supervision is encouraged.
*** Parents: Please be aware that this program will have foods which contain gluten, dairy, and potentially other allergens. If your child has an allergy please be aware and communicate that to the library staff member present at this event.***
Stack them high and low! Knock them down and start again! Bring your babies and toddlers to this fun play session where they can build new creations.
Let's color our world by making melted crayon masterpieces! While you are making your crafts, enjoy a nice cup of joe to fuel your creativity!
This is an adult program for ages 18+.
*** If you register and can no longer attend, please unregister at least two days before the program begins to give staff a chance to contact patrons on the waitlist to take your spot.***
Are the dog days of summer getting you down? Beat the heat and join us for Board No More: Board Games and Trivia! We have many fun board games on deck and trivia will be hosted by Bay Area Community Center! We would love to have you join us!

Kick off the 2025 Summer Reading Program (SRP) with us! This year's SRP theme is Color Our World, and we're celebrating with fun activities for the whole family! Stop by the kickoff to register for SRP, participate in a new collaborative coloring project, and enjoy other fun activities!
SRP events are generously supported by the Friends of the Galena Park Branch Library.
Join us for a fun Wednesday afternoon movie with popcorn, refreshments and interactive games tied into the movie experience! This event is free to attend for all ages. Movie start time is 3:00pm.
