Join us at the Northwest Library as we celebrate the legacy of former First Lady Barbara Bush and her 100th birthday! Mrs. Bush was a passionate supporter of literacy for all and her namesake foundation, the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, is an integral part of supporting and funding many early literacy programs throughout Houston. In honor of her birthday, we will be hosting a special Barbara themed scavenger hunt and have a necklace/bracelet station set up in the library. The necklace and bracelet station will be available while supplies last on June 7.
