Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch for Ms. Janet's jaw-dropping program exploring facts, legends and myths from around the world, and attempt record-breaking challenges!
This program dives into to the unbelievable to investigate strange history, bizarre animal facts, fascinating mysteries, and mind-blowing world records. It’s packed with interactive challenges, sparking curiosity, that will inspire tweens to think outside the box. With each visit, they'll be introduced to things that seem near impossible, all while having fun and learning something new!
Join us on Fridays at 1PM to craft and chat. We focus on knitting and crochet and make items to donate to local charities.
We are happy to help old and new crafters with their projects, but this is not a formal class.
Please bring your own supplies.
Bring seeds, plant cuttings, or potted plants to swap with other plant lovers!
Stay and talk with new friends about gardening and nature. Tea and cookies will be provided for your chat (first come, first serve).
Help Us Start a Seed Library! Bring seeds from your garden or store seed packets to the Plant Swap to add to our new Seed Library. The Seed Library will offer free seeds for the community. Share your gardening knowledge!
Teens sample another country's culture through snacks, trivia, and games.

Travel around the world without leaving the library! Learn about different foods and cultures with activities meant to share worldly experiences that are once in a lifetime.
This program is strictly for ages 8 to 12. If there are Littles in your group, please come to the Family Place play area to engage in age appropriate distractions while the siblings are exploring their world.
Supplies are limited, so please pick up a ticket from the Children's staff prior to the program.
