Join our Tween Book Club here at the Barbara Bush Branch Library! We will discuss a new book every month paired with a fun activity.

The book for February 2026 will be From the Desk of Zoe Washington by Janae Marks.

Popcorn is, of course, provided! You may bring you own snacks too.

This introductory course is designed for individuals who are new to computers or have limited experience with technology. The course will cover essential computer skills, including understanding hardware components, operating systems, file management, and basic software applications. Students will learn to navigate the internet, use email, and protect their privacy and security online. Practical lessons will guide learners through the use of popular productivity tools, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Teens!  Using a needle and felting wool, design and create an artistic landscape or a 3D animal!

Program begins at 1pm in the Teen Lounge on the 2nd floor.

Master the specific word processing tools featured in Word. Participants will create tables, convert text to tables and tables to text, use the Format Painter, explore the Tables and Borders tab, inset pictures shapes, charts, Word Art, text boxes and hyperlinks; use Find & Replace, insert headers and footers and convert PDF files into Word documents.

Participants will learn how to create new documents, edit and save documents to the hard drive and a removable drive. Please bring a USB to class if you would like to save your work.

Create a diamond art masterpiece! Work on a diamond art kit alongside your fellow crafters. All supplies will be provided and stored at the library until your artwork is finished. Kits that have not been used for 2 meetings will be available to new members.

**Please note that due to limited supplies, each patron will get to make (1) item.
