Book Buddies

Harris County Public Library's Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grade (Little Buddies) for 10 weeks to share the joy of reading. More information can be found on our website.

The next session for the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library will run from September 8th - November 17th, 2025. The Buddies will meet on Mondays from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM.

Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. The Fall cycle of Book Buddies will run from September 18th to November 20th.  Reading sessions will be in the library meeting room.
