The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) is teaming up with Harris County Public Library for a week-long Summer Art Camp to introduce children to great art and children’s literature. Participants will have interactive discussions, develop visual literacy skills, discover art from around the world, and take part in creating their own work of art.

Join us for this very special process art program, where you'll use ripped up bits of old paper to make something new, just like SpongeBob!

You'll get your very own collage board to decorate and take home. No special art skills required.

*Recommended for children ages 5 to 11.

Join us on the third Tuesday of the month in the Baldwin Boettcher Library conference room to ease into art making colorful paper beads to use for jewelry or decor! Registration is required, but all supplies are provided. (Ages 18 & up.)

Do you need time to unwind? We know adulting can be hard sometimes, so we have a program for all you adults out there all year and especially this summer! The Adult Coloring Club meets the last Tuesday of each month at 2 pm for 1 hour of coloring, music, and great conversation. It now takes place in the conference room of the Baldwin Boettcher Library. No registration is required & all supplies are provided. We look forward to seeing you in our library building!

It's time for a Danny Go! dance party. Meet us in the library for dancing, props, interactive elements, and a whole lot of fun!

Danny Go!, the YouTube sensation, is a live-action educational children’s show filled with music, movement, and silliness, that inspires learning and off-the-couch exercise for kids ages 3 to 7, through catchy, upbeat dance-along songs that kids and parents can enjoy together, Kindergarten-level learning, and basic lessons about friendship, kindness, and respect.
