Join us for a fun interactive weekly story time perfect for walkers. Tiny Tykes uses stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. Tickets are required and will be handed out at the information desk 15 minutes prior.
Tickets will not be available 10 minutes after any program has started.
The age-appropriate child must be present to get a ticket for any ticketed program. Age range and ticket limits apply for each program.

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Need a chill place to focus? Drop by the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library on Thursday, January 29th at 4:30pm for our teen study hour. There will be relaxing lo-fi beats, cozy vibes, warm drinks, and snacks while you read, work on homework, or creative projects. Open to teens ages 12-18.

Harris County Public Library's Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grade (Little Buddies) for 10 weeks to share the joy of reading. More information can be found on our website.
The next session for the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library will run from February 23rd - May 4th, 2026. The Buddies will meet on Mondays from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM.
