What is a computer?
Learn the parts of a computer, their functions and the accesories.
There's no need to register, just be here on time due to a limited number of computers.
Play & Learn is a program designed for children ages 18 months- 4 years old to learn through play. Children will enjoy interactive playing time that will help them learn and develop skills in preparation for early success and school readiness.

Learn how to navigate the desktop, use the Start menu, open apps, and adjust simple settings. This beginner-friendly class will help you feel confident using your computer for everyday tasks.
Computers are limited, please arrive on time!
A.M.I.G.O.S.(Amigos Meeting Intended Goals of South Houston) Friends of the South Houston Library is a nonprofit 501 c3 volunteer group that meets once a month. If you are ready to make a difference and help them raise funds for programs such as the Summer Reading Program, after-school programs, and cultural programming and activities, we invite you to join them!

We will practice the correct hand position, how to add symbols and how to type without having to look down at our hands.
Join us for a free class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. You must complete an English placement assessment to join the class. Taking this class will not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.
