Discovery Time with Miss Christine is a fun and engaging story time for the whole family! Each week, we build early literacy skills through the five essential practices: sing, talk, read, write, and play. These simple, everyday activities support language development, spark creativity, and boost comprehension, while also laying a strong foundation for future STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).
This free class is for adults (18 and older) who are intermediate or advanced English learners. The main focus is on speaking, but you will also practice listening, reading, and writing.
All materials are provided.

Join our Reader’s Choice book club, where you can share whatever you’re currently reading! It’s a relaxed, no-pressure group that meets on the second Thursday of each month at 1 PM. Whether you’ve just finished a book or are looking for inspiration, come share or simply listen in.
Get ready for a spooktacular visit from our special guests, Kingwood Arts Academy of Music! They’ll be bringing the beats for a fun-filled Halloween presentation that will have everyone movin’ and groovin’!
Kids are welcome to come in their kid-friendly costumes, but remember, we’ll be dancing and playing, so please choose something lightweight and comfy (nothing too heavy or hot).
It’s going to be a frightfully fun time full of music, laughter, and Halloween cheer!
Mother Goose is a gentle early-learning program, which focuses on the interaction between parent(s) and their little ones. We provide developmentally appropriate opportunities such as play, sing-alongs, and rhymes. Come join the fun and meet new friends. We look forward to seeing you!
