Join Michael, Octavia Field Library's Children's Librarian, for the first day of a two day air dry clay class. On this first day, students will use stencils to make a clay box with a lid and a fun handle of their own creation. Students are encouraged to only take this class if they can make it to the second class on August 16th that will focus on painting their air dry clay box.
Registration begins 15 mins prior to class start at the front desk.
Get ready for an artistic, magical journey as Tommy Terrific goes canvassing through a magical art gallery in his new show, “The Magic of Art”. With the help of his Magical Guidebook, Tommy and the kids perform magic representing different mediums of art, from pencil and paints to crayons and clay.

Falls are the number one mechanism of injury resulting in a visit to HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood's Emergency Department. As a level II trauma center, it is our responsibility and goal to provide our community with education and events to reduce the risk of future injuries. On Your Feet is an educational program identifying risk factors, how to make the home safer, and positive lifestyle choices and health behaviors with the purpose of reducing falls from occurring.
