Join us to dive into DNA use and techniques for family history research. This fall, we will be studying and discussing Diahan Southard's, "Your DNA Guide: the book" and "Your DNA Guide: the workbook". (Not provided.)
The discussion portion of this program will be held in-person and virtually. After discussion time, in person participants will move to the library computers for hands-on work with matchlists.

Participants bring their own lunch to enjoy (optional!) while watching genealogy how-to webinars presented by experts in the field, then discuss how to apply the knowledge gained in their own research. This class will teach participants how to navigate the internet. Topics include common web browsers, searching for websites, and basic safety and scam prevention tips. Basic familiarity with computers (turning on the computer, using the mouse, basic typing) is required. Registration is required, register online @ hcpl.net. We will be using library computers, so no need to bring your own!
