Join us to dive into DNA use and techniques for family history research.  This fall, we will be studying and discussing Diahan Southard's, "Your DNA Guide: the book" and "Your DNA Guide: the workbook".  (Not provided.)

The discussion portion of this program will be held in-person and virtually.   After discussion time, in person participants will move to the library computers for hands-on work with matchlists.

Join with other toddlers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Toddler Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards toddlers ages 18 months through 3 years.

Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Toddler Time.

Watercolor for “Young at heART” adults meets every Tuesday morning to enjoy watercolor painting while commiserating with fellow artists! This friendly and social group is open to all adults and to all levels of art experience, including those who have never painted with watercolor at all. Sometimes the group works on individual projects and sometimes there is an art education period. Sometimes you will learn something new and sometimes you can teach something to others. Join in for a morning of beautiful art and fun conversation!

This class will introduce participants to Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft’s program for making slideshow presentations. You will learn how to open and create a new slideshow, add content into each slide, and basic formatting and styling of slides. Basic familiarity with computers (turning on the computer, using the mouse, basic typing) is required. We will be using library computers, so no need to bring your own!
