Celebrate Free Comic Book Day and National Pet Month, with free comic books, mobile pet adoption, a dog treat cooking class*, and more. Special guests include La Porte Animal Shelter, Lone Star Heroes: Comics & Toys, and Chewbacca!

*Cooking class participation is open to adults, and to kids and teens that are accompanied by an adult.

Come and join us in person for 30 to 45 minutes of gaming fun! Our "After School Boardom" is geared for elementary school age children and their caregivers. This game time includes classic board games, video games and other activities, and it is free to attend. You are always welcome to bring your own games to share in a friendly competition.

Come and join us in person for 30 to 45 minutes of art exploration! Our "Pour Your Art Out" after school art time is free to attend and all materials will be provided. Art projects are age-appropriate for elementary school age children and their caregivers. We will announce art subjects at the start of each program.

Different kinds of games will be set up for all teens to enjoy! We will also be joined by Shell Federal Credit Union to talk to anyone who is interested in learning more about financial literacy for National Financial Literacy Month! Light refreshments will be served. Recommended for grades 6th-12th.
