Speaking English in real-life situations can be intimidating, but it is also one of the most rewarding ways to practice! This is why we want to provide a supportive and friendly environment where students can use the English they know in conversation with others.

Conversation Club is an informal time for adult students to use spoken English together. During this time, students will be able to practice speaking in a low-pressure, supportive environment, build confidence in real-world conversation, and connect with other English learners in the community.

Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English placement test must be passed for class admittance. Students must commit to attending all classes. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

This class will teach you the basics of Microsoft Excel 2019 as well as some of the tips and tricks that are needed to create and navigate your spreadsheets. Basic computer skills are required.

All classes start within five minutes of the announced time; classes are cancelled if no registered attendees arrive within fifteen minutes of announced time.

Teens are invited to hang out, have a snack, and enjoy a film! 

Synopsis: A tribute to mystery mastermind Agatha Christie and a fun, modern-day murder mystery where everyone is a suspect. When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. From Harlan's dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan's untimely death.

Teens are invited to hang and yap about their current read! Whether you're a book worm or a required reader, each book has a valuable takeaway. Snacks will be provided. This program is for teens ages 13-18.

Join us every Monday to create a new masterpiece! In this program you will learn about various types of art and use a variety of medium to create a unique art project each week. This program is geared toward children ages 5-12 years old.

Space is limited; event may be held in groups with staggering start times if room reaches capacity. Please pick up your free tickets at the Children's Reference Desk every Monday the program is held, beginning at 1:45 pm.

Let's harness the power of the hot Texas sun to make beautiful dyed fabric! Join us for this immersive hands-on workshop and watch the ice melt and carry the dye through your fabric. Everyone will make their own custom-dyed tea towel. All material provided.
