The goal of the class is to teach adults ages 18+ how to operate a computer. You'll learn how to use a mouse, keyboard, and other fundamental computer skills.
No prior computer experience necessary!

Learn how to book time with the Kingwood Library’s Mayku Vacuum Former. This orientation session will introduce participants to vacuum forming services in the library, and the basics on how to create your own uniquely-shaped plastic molds. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a vacuum former at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a vacuum former.
Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English placement test must be passed for class admittance. Students must commit to attending all classes. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

Donate blood with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center on Wednesday, March 12, from 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM. You can schedule an appointment or walk-in to donate. All who donate will receive a free water bottle, while supplies last.

The service is first come, first serve. No registration or appointments required. Please be sure to bring the following items with you: driver’s license, Social Security Card, and any relevant tax information for everyone included on the tax return.

Bring your friends and enjoy two hours of free play on Kingwood Branch Library's Nintendo Switch, Wii and PS4! Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Just Dance and Madden are the featured games of the day! Just bring your friendly competition--snacks will be provided.
